Coro Realty Advisors Expands Self-Storage Portfolio with Four New Developments

Coro Realty Advisors, a full-service real estate investment and management partner, continues to strengthen its foothold in the self-storage sector with the announcement of four new developments. 

These properties mark significant additions to Coro's growing self-storage portfolio, a key focus alongside its retail, multifamily and industrial investments.

The recent deals include Auburn Avenue Storage in Columbus, Ga., Lake Lanier Storage in Flowery Branch, Ga., Ridgewalk Storage in Woodstock, Ga. and Georgetown Storage in Dunwoody, Ga. 

The Auburn Avenue Storage project is a three-story building that adds 57,000 leasable square feet of climate-controlled storage space to Coro's existing property, which the company has owned since 2018. 

Adjacent to Cross Country Plaza shopping center, formerly owned by Coro Realty until 2022, the facility offers convenient storage solutions for residents and businesses in Columbus, Ga.

Lake Lanier Storage, located at 6401 McEver Road in Flowery Branch, Ga., is currently under construction. The two-story facility will provide 75,000 leasable square feet of climate-controlled storage and 49,000 square feet for boat and vehicle storage.  Strategically located near I-985 and Lake Lanier, the site offers local and regional customers easy access.

Coro Realty recently acquired the land for Ridgewalk Storage, 295 Ridgewalk Parkway, in Woodstock, Ga. The Coro Realty partnership is set to commence construction in the fall of 2024. With 83,000 leasable square feet across two stories and a basement, Ridgewalk Storage will cater to the storage needs of Woodstock residents and businesses.  It is situated conveniently near downtown Woodstock and major highways.

Georgetown Storage, located at 4470 Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody, Ga., is in the planning stage. The four-story facility will offer approximately 120,000 leasable square feet of storage space. Positioned behind the Kroger-anchored Georgetown Shopping Center, the site benefits from its proximity to I-285 and Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
